Children's Brain Injury Association, Inc. - Children deserve love, hope and help!

You have been an encouragement to me several times and starting this support group is wonderful. I have meet many friends through this that has helped me and answered some questions for me cause they walk the same walk I do each day. It is nice to talk to parents that understand you and your children and don't judge you or look down on your family. We are a team and with the Lord on the top of this team we will all go very far.

Dealing with a child with a brain injury is a very isolating experience. Between medical emergencies and day-today doctor and therapy visits, it's hard to connect with other moms, and frankly nearly impossible to make much-needed connections with moms of "typical" kids.  And then there's the need for information -- what therapies have you tried?  What supplements?  What are your doctors like?  Because of the group's leadership and concern, moms like me have a resource for friendship and information through the on-line support group she started and the wonderful conference she organizes yearly.  The bottom line is this:  Shelby's life (and mine) has been improved through the work this group has done. Thank you, from both me and Shelby!

This group has been a big help encouraging me and all the others members.  You research and share so much that helps us all! Thank you!

I can't begin to enumerate the times you have been of help to me -- knowing you are there, ready, willing and able to help at a moment's notice is so assuring.  I am truly happy that you have started this group so that us "moms" can learn from each other and from YOU.  I look forward every day to hearing from you and the others.  You are truly an angel sent from God.

The nonprofit organization is such a blessing and if I can be of any help to YOU please let me know.  It is a wonderful thing you are doing.

Donna is a wonderful facilitator of assistance and support to mothers of brain injured children. Her example of serving her children to provide the best possible medical care is an inspiration and example to many others.  Sue
